I just did my this year’s Birthday Fitnesses Challenge in Pateley Bridge, Harrogate, cycling 64 Miles with 1,117 m elevation gain. I enjoyed the challenge a lot and finished in good spirits with still some energy left in my tank😁☀️😁☀️🚴♂️🏔
Turning 64 is GREAAAAAAAAAAAT - not even reached halfway of my journey in life!

While cycling, I often face strong headwinds. At the beginning, I felt a lot of frustration and exhaustion with the limitations it gave me of slowing me down and tiring me out. However, I came to realize that this was an integral part of my journey to becoming stronger and making progress.
We may not voluntarily put ourselves in situations to challenge us because it takes us out of our comfort zone, however, it is these times when we experience these “strong headwinds” in our cycling or our life that we experience our biggest growth. Now, every time I experience strong head wind on my cycling day, I put a big smile on my face and thank it for giving me the opportunity to become better. 😀☀️🙏
This attitude also helps me in facing some strong headwinds in my daily life. Try it out; it really works.

2022 will be the year of the Tiger in the Chinese Zodiac. I usually “predict” the following year based on my view of the animal’s behaviour, in this case the Tiger:
The year of the Tiger is going to be a generally good year but also very hectic and extremely volatile. Each time when the Tiger is out for a hunt it evokes a sense of anxiety in the rest of the animals. As soon as one starts to run away, all others follow in a wild scramble. Ultimately, the Tiger catches the weakest/slowest prey and eats it and peace is immediately restored for a few days until the Tiger is to hunt again! So, beware of the “Tigers" around you in your daily life, take a good distance when they are hungry, so you can avoid the “big stampede” and will not be eaten😀☀️🐅

I was quite lucky to see this very rare full circular double rainbow on my flight back from Warsaw to London. It reminded me that sometimes glimpsing out of the window without a clear objective can help me to see new things and also experience very positive surprises😀☀️🙆♂️🌈🍀

Rare Circular Rainbow

I just completed successfully my first business year. I am very pleased with the progress and the results. Thanks a lot for all your support😀☀️🙏

In Aug 1982 I was driving together with my fiance towards the North Cape by car. It was a very old car which I bought for around USD 1,500.-. When we arrived in Trondheim, my intuition told me that this car would not make it to the North Cape and back. So I had to make a decision to stop our journey and to return to Switzerland. When we arrived in my hometown, Sattel, Switzerland, the car seized to start up ever again.
On 23 Sep 2021, after 39 years, I finally arrived by car together with my wife (my fiance at the time of our first attempt) at the North Cape. It was such a great feeling! A 39 year old dream come true😁☀️ I had an overwhelming joy of self-fulfillment and happiness that I did not give up on my dream all those years until it came true😁☀️😁☀️😁☀️.
With this in mind, I encourage you, when your path feels like a struggle and your dream seems like light years away, it is okay to take a pause. As we journey through the ebbs & flows of life, we may find ourselves reaching our dream at the most unexpected time in the most fulfilling way 😁☀️😁☀️😁☀️.

I planted the tree 2 years ago. It reminds me of life; it often takes some time and one needs to be patient until some nice fruits can be earned. Some may believe that the last 2 years has stopped our growth and progress. However, just like this apple tree, I believe that growth can be achieved, even at the most difficult times because it is the journey and the patience that allow us to experience our own metamorphosis.
